Across the mile Christmas greetings...

Christmas greetings to all my friends across the mile!

I am celebrating my holiday out of my hometown to join with my brother's and sister's family and my Mom up north in Manila. It is actually my first time to celebrate outside my home. With me are my kids who, like me enjoys traveling to other places.

We drove to together to the market, shopping malls and to places we wanted to go. We enjoyed the moment as well as the food that we prepared together. One place that we enjoyed so much was the trip to a Php10 store. All items sold in the store is worth ten pesos only! We placed so many items in our cart and when we arrived home, we started sharing them to our kin as a Christmas giveaways. It was really fun!

Christmas is a time of giving and sharing not making money. It is also the time when our hearts are filled with joy and gladness. A time to collect precious memories that will stay forever in our hearts.

The Magic of Christmas

It was a very lovely Christmas morning when I received my first Christmas gift from a friend. It was a toy tambourine. I was so happy that I could still feel the nostalgic feeling whenever I recall that memorable day that happened more than 40 years ago. I was just so happy that the memory of it still lingers on.

Many beautiful stories that tells us how Christmas  puts magic into our lives. Some are told from one generation to the other while others are written in journals and diaries. It keeps our lives brittle and sensitive to the feelings of other people.

I don't have the money to give every one a gift but I see to it that I shared my blessings to those who are less remembered. Not to mention our loved ones and to our dearest friends of course.

Christmas is a way of expressing our gratitude to the one who came to us. Whatever your opinion about this... one thing is for sure, the magic of Christmas will bring others closer to our hearts!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
