Blessings Come When Flowers Bloom

I always believe that blessings come when flowers bloom on my front yard.I  feel excited when buds starts to come for I know flowers will soon follow. I don't know but it's been proven many times in my life when my flowers starts to blossom , money and other blessings follows too.

I have three kinds of Orchids on my front yard. The white Cattleya and the Violet Cattleya. I also have this typical Orchid both violet and white. They usually have the flowers alternately. They don't come together.

I had this beautiful flowers three days before my brother  from the US came. I had so many "pasalubong" and gifts from him! Not only this time but many times.

These flowers serves as a sign from heaven to me that blessings are to come my way.

The beauty of it all...

Consider the lilies of the valley, they toil not neither do they spin but even King Solomon was not arrayed like one of this...Sound familiar? Well, nobody or anything that can outlast the beauty of a flower. It is undescribable. Different color combinations and designs. It is really amazing!

They seemed to came out from one single mold and so meticulously crafted that gives it a satin look. Just imagine how it gives you peace by simply beholding it.That's the beauty of it all...

ETEEAP

I went to a University to see how I could possibly enroll in a crash course. I desperately needed to go back to school because of the nature of my job.I needed to polish my skills.

I was surprised that the latest offer they are offering to a lot of individuals is to enroll them to a so called ETEEAP. It is Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency Program designed for individuals who are working for many years and does not have any college degree. It can be attained in less than a year!

Requirements are as follows:

  • 5 or more years of work experience
  • Transcript of Records
  • Certificates, if any
I saw in their folder so many local artists that came to enroll. Just to think you don't have to attend regular classes and earn a college degree in less than a year! That is something...

I went home smiling to think that finally, program like this are a great help for many Filipino people.

When dreams come true

When I was a child , I used to dream that I could visit other places. I was the eldest among the brood of five kids. My father’s income was minimal and enough to feed us. My mom was still studying then. I remember enjoying the old postcards that was sent to my family and wondered how beautiful life must be on the other side of the world. I wished and hoped that someday I could be given a chance to step out  from our house and see other places too.

I was in highschool when my dreams started to come true. It was a senior visitation time. We travelled outside our place and went to Mindanao where we visited a beautiful college and stayed there for 3 days. There were many other schools who came to visit too. It was fun and exciting!
Then finally, after so many years of waiting I finally left the country for the first time. I went to Bangkok. I was really overwhelmed and thankful for the one who lives above have seen my desires. I stayed there for two years . It was the beginning of everything.

The trip to Thailand was followed by another trip and so on and so forth. Just last year, I went to Singapore. It was a very soul enrichment trip since my husband was with me.Aside from the trip outside the country, I had so many trip within our country too.

It’s difficult to comprehend how things worked but one thing is for sure, life is so unpredictable that sometimes it  is hard to believe it when dreams come true.

In the eyes of a child

I am wondering what this child is thinking. Is she trying to figure out the activities of the people around her or is she simply staring wondering if her mom is around. Nobody knows but one thing is for sure she is looking to something or someone, thinking, and maybe wondering!

How many times in my life I watched the same scene such as this one.

As a mom I felt the love and the innocent look of a child whose heart is so pure and honest. In the eyes of a child we, mothers are the most important person in their lives. They look on us as their model and rescuer in their times of need.

A child is attracted to and reacts with eagerness to colors, lights and movements. They love it!

But we adults hardly appreciate the beauty and the majestic of it anymore because our minds and hearts are corrupted with our cares and anxiety. If only we learn to see the world and see things through the eyes of a child maybe we can say it's a beautiful world after all.
